Meet Clayton Coots …
Clayton Coots is a Painter Apprenticeship completer with the Excelsior Springs Job Corps. Clayton came to us with his High School Diploma but he said he wanted vocational training. He heard of the Job Corps program and decided to give it a try. Clayton says that is the best decision he ever made. He picked the Painting Apprenticeship and has never regretted it. He states that his instructor, Steven Mullen, thoroughly prepared him for the Painting Apprenticeship. Clayton is giving back to the Job Corps program by taking time to come back to center to talk to the Painters, and he also talked to the whole student body about his positive experience with Job Corps. He encouraged the students to give it their all while here and they would be well prepared for a successful future. Clayton is a Painting Apprentice painter in the Jefferson City, Missouri area.
